Yep, doing all 7 stops. Leaving from oklahoma. It will be about 3500 mile round trip.

Truck looks great! How's the noise and smell in the cab with the headers exiting right at the front of the doors? I have friends that have commented on exhaust smell and noise in their cars with a similar exhaust setup so I'm curious.

Power Tour is on my list. I was looking at it for this year but it is just too much gas money for me this year. The trip there and back would be roughly 4.5 times the distance of power tour, somewhere over a 8,500 KM round trip. I might need an overdrive if I'm going to plan to do it next year.

The gas smell is not noticeable, but I have the doors sealed. The noise on the other hand, its loud when I get on it, but when it shifts into overdrive the noise is no worse than must muscle cars.

I forgot all about this thread. A little update, I did the power tour in 2019 as planned and it went perfect. 4100 miles in 10 days, we spent 22 hours and 1400 miles the first day getting there, and 1600 miles over the next 7 days going from Concord, NC to Norwalk OH. Then 1100 miles home the final 2 days. It was a blast and met a lot of awesome people. I don't think I got back in the truck for a month after I got home, I was a little over the cramped space.

I've basically just have been enjoying it for the past couple of years and
I've taken it on a couple long trips. I got tired of the open headers, it was to loud on the highway, and I couldn't talk to the person next to me. So last month installed Fuel injection and upgraded the exhaust.

Last week we took a 1900 mile trip to Colorado to check out a car show.

I've got about 15k miles on it since its been on the road and still love driving it like its the first day.

Good for you! I personally can't imagine spending the time to build one and then not want to use it. Looks like a fine ride!
