Hi guys , here the last pictures of our 1952 Ford F1 project that I am building with my son Mika (11)
We have more than 4 years in it so far and still enjoy the time spending in the shop together.
We try to come up with cool ideas and try to realize them with in our budged, most of the time we look around for those old patina parts and not just CC out and order them . Scrap yards are also good for hunting materials and parts and we love to go in there to look for these treasures.
For what ever is expensive and out of reach we try to find a second solution so the idea will not die.
Great learning for the kids and my advice, listen to their ideas , there mind is fresh and does not follow trends or rules (...yet)

Anyway here some pictures of our 1952 Ford F1 mixed with a 2004 Dodge Ram SRT10 Viper we named it named ( F1 + Viper = 52 Fiper )
Let me know if you would like to see updates of our build so we can keep you posted here

thanks , great to be here on RRR
Winter is here ...we have the first snow on Vancouver island tonight ...The bad ...cold and wet out side ...The Good....Kids love it and the shop is warm ...winter is here and shop hibernation can start.

Ben and Mika

I appreciate artistic license and all that, but you screwed up bigtime! Dontcha know that the drive-in speaker goes INSIDE the cab? Geez, get it right!
Seriously, you guys are using lots of original thought on the build. Love the Vee'd windshield! That ol' truck is gonna cause quite a stir when it hits the street with your kid driving. How much did you widen it to fit the chassis?

Reversed use Drive-in speakers

Hi R Pope,

You are correct about the Drive in speaker ...but here is the idea. How many time when we park somewhere we boost up the sound in our cars to hear it outside ...Got it !!
The Drive in speaker is when we're driving part of the inside infinity stereo system and when parked bring we the sound out ..Reversed drive-in system, hang em on the out side of the doors (we have both sides working) With the volume button we can even control the volume outside the truck !!
Guess there will be a search for Drive-in speakers now again eh

And they look cool too.

We needed to widen the truck ...24 inches and lengthen it about 12

Regards
Ben & Mika

Wow, I thnk you nailed it. You and your son have a great eye for scale and proportion. Nice work. If I may offer this, the only thing I would have done differently would have been to stretch the doors at least a couple inchs rather that putting the whole stretch behind the doors. Please continue to show us more of the progress on your truck. [dr
