How are those turkey sandwiches?

Turkey-dressing sandwiches for me!

Actually, lunch yesterday was 'fend-for-yourself' so I slopped out some leftovers - mashed potatoes, turkey, green-bean casserole (w/ cream of mushroom and Frenches Onions), dressing, and deviled eggs - microwaved it, and since it was already fairly mixed up, slapped a bunch on the giant sized dinner rolls we had and made some kinda monster leftover sandwich.

It was kinda gross to look at (ask my wife), but it was good eatin'. [dr

Some more mindless B/S1! I'm now classified as a Rusty Rat Rodder. Now I'm with the big boys![cl...It was a long and sometimes grueling ordeal, but I've made it!..Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh:D...CR

Dr. Frankenstein would have built a rat rod if he had lived at a time with cars.

Not sure why I thought of that. [S

First it was prayer in school.... then the Pledge of Allegiance. Now it is chocolate milk. School is changing.
I am glad I was a kid when I was a kid.

Yep, me too Bonehead! Now kids spend their days on lockdown in the big house under armed gaurd with no recess.

At least that's the way they do it in Nashville. :( I'd send mine to private school but the Nuns would beat the hell out of them there too! [ddd

hey T1 the Nuns beat the hell outta me at the Church of the Assumption back in the 60's, and i STILL turned out a Ratrodder[ddev[ddev

I send my kids to a catholic school and I'm not even catholic!:D No more nuns beating kids, but there is definately a disciplined atmosphere and it's not from fear. The public schools have gotten totally out of control, at least around here. We sent our kids to a "private" school a few years ago and pulled them out within a week because of the outbursts, fights, and general disarray of the entire school. Turns out they were recruiting all of the misfits and expelled kids just to get the enrollment up! I remember kids who had went ot catholic school when I was in public school and they were so far ahead of us, it was pathetic. It's still that way![cl....CR

WHAT NO CHOCOLATE MILK???

sadly, that will probably get just as much-if not more- attention as the other 2 being eliminated.......this country(as much as i love it) is getting crazy

i for one, MUST have my chocolate milk in the morning!!:D

Yup. I drink a huge glass of chocolate milk every day. I dont know what Id do if I didnt. man that would make for a poor day. I guess whats next? are they gonna eliminate teaching from school too? Dont wanna give these kids the wrong ideas, or teach them anything.

Hey Rockb1 - they have already stopped teaching - now it's just read the book or pull up a report on your cell phone - no real teaching.

well not to be argumentative, but IMO they try to teach too much! seems like they are cramming more and more at these lil' buggers and they can hardly grasp it all before they move on to the next subject.....(if my kids miss a day of school it takes FOREVER to catch up on the missed work)
and while i'm ranting- now they tell us all we MUST learn spanish.....well that might be ok-not against learning another language-but why don't they teach ENGLISH TO THOSE WHO CAN'T SPEAK IT!!!!

as far as i'm concerned it should be the basic 3 R's =Reading 'Righting and 'Rithmatic BEFORE anything else is even attempted
