Thanks guys, pause for a little bit video together on the installation of it. Shows the brackets up on the frame rails a lot better

I also picked up a Toploader 4 speed this weekend for it! I have always wanted one[cl

All of it seems to be good stuff. Fits well, easy to install. I havnt got to drive it yet. Soon I hope

Put the fairlane on the lift this weekend. We greased and pressure washed the bottom of it. Welded the 4 link beakers on then started under coating it. What a mess!!

Pressure washed the underside on the lift in the shop. Dang. Bothersome to think of that mess inside but I get it. Underside of that Ford looks great. [cl

Thrbplastic contained it pretty well. Then I just swept it out well worth it!!

So, I have a had a small change of plans. I think I'm going to go more modern with my drive train. I have found a 2019 5.0 coyote motor with 73 miles on it for a good price. In the long run I will have close to the same amount of money in to it going this way or buildimg a 408 small block

Opinions??

Keep the hood closed. (Sorry! I appreciate new power but I can't appreciate the ugly. :()

.

Opinion noted. I will warn you before I post any under hood pics if I install the coyote. I am with you though on the fact that a well done old school V8 is way better to look at than a plastic cover. But the reliability Factor I think is going to sway me to go with the newer engine also the fact that I got a screaming deal on a 6-speed to go behind it

So they received payment today for the 73 mile 3rd gen coyote motor.

Flashback is getting a new heart!!
