Ford 8.8 rear backing plates

I picked up an 8.8 posi from a 99 explorer and I bought all the parts to re-do it but I’m having trouble locating new backing plates to hold the e-brake shoes, I’ve been all over the web and for some reason I can’t locate these things. Mine are too rotted away to use. Anyone out there know of a source for these things ? I can’t understand why I can’t find them.

I can't find the plates by themselves, either.

I assume they're obsolete, because all I can find are aftermarket assemblies...

I didn't know this but it says the Dana 44 is the same brake setup.
All those small mail carrier vehicles have dana 44 posi in them.

Wish you were closer. Got one of each of those rear ends in my yard. !997 F150 8.8 and a 1971 Dana 44 out of a mail jeep...
