Filling in the blanks.... started with the easy curved parts of the top of the quarters, from here to the bottom gets tougher as the panels have compound curves so I'll do smaller sections and work them with a planishing hammer to get the right shape. Also made the front mounting tabs for the top irons and I'll make a 1" thick oak strip to fit over them and go around the rear of the cab to attach the top to.

You know what I think of your work and creativity. Would really like to know what metal shaping tools you are using for this exceptional build.

So far, the curved pieces of sheet have just been bent over my knee, a tire or on a piece of pipe. Bead roller on the firewall and wheel tubs, sharp bends done on my home made brake. For the compound curve pieces going on next, I have a plastic mallet, sandbag and an Eastwood planishing hammer - I'll use as few or as many of those as I have to, whatever is easiest.
For me, it's easiest to break big jobs down into manageable sized pieces. Probably more work, but every time I take a big piece of sheet metal and try to make fancy shapes, it ends up on the scrap heap .

Got all the rear sheet metal hammered out and welded in. Not perfect but I can work out any warbles later. Mounted the electrical control panel behind the seat, this location allows me to keep all the original wiring.

Took a break from metal work and made the supports for the trunk floor and cut some wood for the removable floor panels plus a panel to hide the electric panel. Also cut some plywood for the seat back and some 1\8" mahogany side panels.

Any hot rodder with a pulse would probably think of this one - I couldn't resist posing the rat motor in front of the cart to ponder the possibilities...

I realized I made an error in the shape of the top of the body where it will meet the door - it needed a flat area to mount the base for the top. Solved by welding on a strip. Trunk lid is finished, made a prop to hold it up and used a Model A handle.
The idea to put a real engine in is tempting - I was eyeing up a Honda goldwing trike the other day, that flat 6 would work great and it has reverse too [ddd

they sound like a nasty ass SBC and make about 200HP with a few tweaks.

That would make an awesome motor! Plenty of punch to get that little rig where ever you want it to go! I just like the V-Twin motor because they flat look sweet!!!
