Check out D I Y 4X4,they make a disk brake bracket that uses Chevy 3/4 ton parts.

Thanks anyway but.
They don't have anything for my uncommon axles that need machining before anything else can happen.
On the other hand
My brakes work fine and i am excited to e in the VETERANS DAY PARADE

I have a lot of small screw holes in my dash.
And this is how i deal with them
Put a small piece of tape on the back.
Then fill the hole with jb weld
Sand and paint.
I am going to use a heat gun and sharp putty knife to scrape the old paint off .
Then use my dremel with sandpaper wheel to get the corners.
I am also going to use some hunter green gloss paint and see how i like it.

I am going to restore the data plates on my dash.
1 remove from dash and make sure they are not bent
2 clean with alcohol
3 tape over sections that are stamped
4 lightly spray paint and let dry
5 remove tape
6 place face down on 2 or 3000 grit sand paper on piece of glass and very gently move back and forth checking progress often.
The very slightly raised printing will have the paint removed and the plate will look like new.
7 spray with sealer if desired

Compound low 4x4 1st gear is about 3mph at around 2000 rpms.
I could drive this thing through a house

This sounds goofy but.
Sewing blackout curtains is harder than it looks.
I screwed up the first one.
Gonna try again today.
I need to replicate the ones for the rear compartment

I am going to build a receiver hitch in the center of the front bumper.
That way i can move it to the front or back as the situation warrants

Before i get serious about taking my rig out.
I am going to have to have.
1 a portable winch
2 at least front and rear attachment points
3 a good set of chains for the unlikely event of needing them

Coming back from shooting a hear a loud noise.
Pull over and look at everything under the truck.
Hmm looks ok
Drive some more
BOOM!!!!
Pull over and find that the parking brake band came loose and whacked the underside of the ambulance.
Zip tied it out of the way and came home

I found ONE supplier in the US. (Plenty in Brazil, Australia, Poland etc.) They don't list your kit but claim to be a "full line supplier" of AVM products.

Might be worth a phone call. 812-336-2894

.
They dont have it.
Dang it.
On another note
I never thought of it like this but
The locking hub acts as a sort of a fuse
It fails instead of much more expensive and complicated to repair parts inside the axle etc.
Is that true?

I came sooo close to getting a unimog or pinzgauer instead of my wagon.
I am glad i went with a van instead of a truck in any case.
For me
It is much more useful.
And i am REALLY glad i got one that had been modified.
Parts are cheap compared to the originals
3x the horsepower doesnt hurt either
With the original engine it wouldnt go fast enough to be legal on a highway

They dont have it.
Dang it.

Shame about the kit.

I don't see the hubs as a fuse, but the most vulnerable link in the chain. IMO, what kills them, is when they don't fully engage (or disengage) and you apply the power... shred, slip, shred, slip, bang.
