For about the same money you can install a lift pump.
Then, install a standard stool, shower, vanity etc. and let the pump take care of all them.

Billy, I don't recall if you've lived outside of the southwest - pay close attention to the basement and foundation for cracks, and water problems. That stuff can run big $$$ to fix. Same with septic and wells, but I'm guessing NM was worse for that than NE would be.

Water problems in NM? Only the lack of it and very few houses with basements in NM. I lived in NE too and basements are a necessity there as there are lots of tornados in NE.

we put in an offer today on a 4 bed 1 bath with a real nice basement that we will use as our bedroom
that will leave the main floor vacant and the other bedrooms on the top floor
i am the cook so i needed a good kitchen
this is a nice one
i will install one of these in the basement along with a nice looking shower and sink.
that will give us a large bathroom a large bedroom and a smaller room to be used as a walk-in closet beauty parlor for my bride
there is also a smaller unfinished room down there i will use as a gun/reloading room

this product has been in use in Europe for 50 years

Be careful with your gun room under ground. My dad had his guns in a basement in Tijeras and the humidity was hard on things.

this one doesn't have a shop yet
we will buy a steel building and have it installed on a pad we will pour
guns and humidity are a no no
i will store them in a cabinet with a dehumidifier
