Got the brake lines, fuel line, battery cable and E-brake cables installed, so easy to do this stuff before the body goes on, which BTW, will be soon... :)
I finally got a decent flaring tool for the brake lines instead of just making do with off the shelf pre made pieces, looks much tidyer..

Both of my children were kids when Barney was popular. I think we got the full run on him. That was a color I grew rather tired of, and all these years later, the color still reminds me of Barney.
Your paint looks great, and I'm sure the car is really going to stand out in that color. It should be real popular with the 40-45 year old people.

Love the car, the build is great, the paint looks great, its just the wrong shade of purple for me. Good Job!

Happiness is a successful landing!
Got the bod on the chassis without incident or big scratches, etc. It's always a little scary when it's up in the air, visions of disaster make me nervous but took it slow... hardest part is to get the s#**# cherry picker to roll straight..

To get a cherry picker to roll straight you have to play the game of "Kick the Casters".

Same with my welding cart.

Awesome!

Does the cage go in through the doors?

Yes, it is all bolt together, 9 pieces, tied thru the body to mounts on the frame. As to it's drag race legality, I have no idea - I just wanted the "look" without too much intrusion on interior space - I may never make & install the door bars, but the mount stubs are there. I'm sure it adds to the overall stiffness of the frame/body structure. I have to put in the headliner, interior panels, sound deadner, wiring, etc., before the cage goes in...

Fantastic! You get alot done quickly for a solo act. Where do you stash your crew of miniature ZZs?[ddd:D[cl

I treat it like a job, have a daily objective and go at it. The mini me's are in a locker, they come out at night...:D

You got that right...

Kicking the wheels on the cherry picker to get it to roll straight hurts my toes (steel toed work boots don't like kicking stuff much, they jam all the toes at the same time). I just use a ballpein hammer to keep them in line, just reach down there and give them a smack. I can still push the cherry picker and keep the wheels straight at the same time, but my cherry picker only has swivel casters on the jack end, the front wheels are fixed position. :D
