Still puttering along with misc small things...
Needed a mounting place for the fuse panel and grounds etc., also someplace to mount the gas pedal linkage, so I glued a steel panel to the inside of the firewall with PL700 adhesive (didn't want drill holes in it after filling so many and painting it....) Created a bellcrank to work the throttle, a cable will exit the firewall thru one of the cowl vent drain holes..
Also got the front window glued in with urethane, not without problems, cranked the screws down too much on the inside trim before the urethane set and cracked the first one , oh well call it a practice run... + $$$

Another step forward with installation of the doors at last....
A couple prayers and a bunch of masking tape helped to get 'er done without any paint chips. Lotsa fun wangling the top hinge into the slot in the dash, then dropping the pin in the lower hinge, latching the door, then crawling under the dash to bolt the top hinge to the cowl ! Making side window patterns and adapting the winders to work with the longer glass now that the vent wings are gone is next..

Moving along with my El Cheapo interior. Don't want it too fancy for a Gasser but kept it under 1000.00 except for the seats.

Sourced some pre-sewn 2" pleated black vinyl from Etsy, got to my door from Turkey in 6 days, only other cheap pleated vinyl I found is the crummy melted seam type... Picked up some plain black vinyl from Scamazon and got busy with the sewing machine. Roll cage finally in place and most of the carpet. Hard to take pics of a black interior, the trouble light makes it look brown in a couple of the pics...
