It has been a while, some things have changed. Some haven't.
Last post was 2018. Little update.
I HAVE A CONCRETE FLOOR IN MY SHOP!
I went looking for brakes for the wife's chevelle, and ended up with front and rear suspension and crossmembers as well as the brakes from a C5 corvette. I couldn't let that go to waist, so I designed mounts to mate it to a Nissan chassis(s.m.r.t. right?)
Still using the 500 cadillac engine and turbo 400 transmission for drive trane. The rear end is 2018 camaro differential(probably short lived)
Detroit steel wheels finally came through with wheels so I can get the fenders finalized. The frame isn't finished but it is pretty close. It has been in for a wheel alignment and passed. If I remember correctly it is 2 to 4 inches shorter than a corvette. And significantly wider.
I am sure I am missing something but now for the photo dump.
