Up here in the north west corner of IL, I have used my snow blower 3 times so far this year (we have averaged 5-6 times for probably the last 4 or 5 years). The 1st time was for about 4" of wet heavy stuff. The last couple times were for about an inch of fluffy white stuff. My driveway is 88' long and 19' wide, and I have almost 100' of sidewalk to clear, and a 10' x 10' area that is a shove only area. Its a lot easier on my back to follow that self powered snow blower around then scooping it all with a shovel.

My wife has a cousin that lives not far from us. They have purchased property in southern Arkansas as a near future retirement location, so they could get away from this "snow crap" as they call it. For the last 2 winters, the place in Arkansas has gotten more snow then we have.

Mind you, I don't bug them about that very much... Well, OK maybe I do.... HA! HA! How is that place in Arkansas working out for you? HA! HA!

Only a couple weeks from introducing the '30 to it's new home. Looking so forward to moving and having an enclosed garage again!!! In the mean time, gotta get things organized so it will actually fit... 🤪😅

Good luck with that. Moving sucks. The last time I did it was 22 years ago. I'm hoping I won't have to be involved with my next move.
When I moved my welding shop from a 40' x 60' building into a 24' x 30' garage, there was lots of adjustments to be made! The original intent was to put up a new building here, but it just didn't happen.

Didn't get much done, just picked up some parts for the T bucket. A rear axle spring and mounting hardware for the front axle.

I gave it a bath and filled up the gas tank again, and then put another 140 miles on it since Friday morning. Its only getting about 12 mpg through this winter weather. The gas gauge is telling me its getting thirsty again. Needs another bath too.
I'm making it live such a hard life. Picture after last Friday's bath.

That blue tends to stand out with any color of background, as long as the sun is shinning on it. It appears to be a few shades darker when not in the sun.
It is a 2016 Jeep color in single stage acrylic urethane. It was sprayed in May 2023. I can say that I never expected it to be this shiny.

Have had this rebuilt '64 Mercury Monterey S55 390 sittin' in my shop for a while & was gonna put it into something but doesn't look like that's gonna happen so I'm gonna freshen it up & sell it! Took the tranny off so I can move it around easier & will work on getting it started again!

I succeeded in getting 2 of my tractors running again. I guess that's the way it supposed to go. Hurricane tree/deadfall still all over the place, and both running tractors quit. I was finally able to find a new starter for one as the fixit guy told me he couldn't find parts to fix mine. OK, the other one blew a head gasket so I was into that 3 cylinder diesel for a while because it was all new to me. I have this tool that measures exhaust gas in the coolant and I had some. Visually checked head and block for cracks, even honed the head surface to flat and that indicated the head hadn't warped. So waited a week or more for a top end gasket set and put it all back together. Surprisingly enough, once I got "the little red bitch" primed it fired right up. Got about 3 hours of work on the deadfall before dark.

I was petty lazy this weekend. I did replace the thermostat on my Samurai because it was overheating. Didn't have a gasket but figured I'd be careful. Nope was leaking. On the trip to the parts store for a radiator cap water poured out. I took it apart in Advance Auto parking lot and used some form a gasket. Drove it home water still pouring out. Did it one more time letting it dry. Have tried it again yet.Typical 5 minute project. Jim
