what size heim joints

Hey guys, I came across some good quality heim joints for cheap. The only problem is that they are 1/2". My question is are these strong enough to use for the ends of split wishbones, a panhard bar for the front end, or the steering arm (link between steering box and front axle). Did i get a good deal or did I just buy a bunch of transmission shifter linkages?

i believe everything you want to use them on is 5/8, i know the steering arms are for sure, 1/2 inch is pretty small for suspension, just my thoughts...

3/4 would be a better choice, especially if your gonna be gettin on it alot.

1/2" will work fine for your steering and panhard bars. I use 5/8" and 3/4" for the suspension stuff.

I use .750" for all my rear 4 link bars, my wishbones and Front and rear Panhard bars.

I use.625" for my steering linkages (drag link and tie rod).

I WOULD NOT use .500" heims on any suspension part.
