Glass cuts For a first timer....not recommended, personally. To take on a curved window is difficult at best and IF the supply of curved correct fitting windshields are at a premium....not so sure I'd attempt it???? If you adamant about the chop, then persistence will get you to the end point...

Very good You'll be glad you've taken so many pics of your build. It is especially handy later as references..in my case anyway that's how it works! Your work looks to be well thought out and has a professional look to the finished end. Keep that up and you'll be able to drive that beast...
