That is not a ford part number. It is probably an aftermarket cam of some sort.

Castrol superclean works great on ground www. I did some a couple of weeks ago. Bfg radial t/a. One has a seam in the white though, but who cares it is for the back, under the skirts.

A 600 cfm carb will do fine. Your motor with the intake and cam probably makes about 250 hp if you are lucky. With a 29 inch tire you will be able to run any high gears, 3:50,2:68,3:00 something like that. Don't be tempted to try 4:11 they will spin your stock motor a lot faster than it needs.

I used a 57 Jag steering box on my T I had. It was killer. Aluminum housing and recirculating ball,like a power box. Use waht ya find. Try a ranger pick up manual box. S10 boxes are too many turns lock to lock.

I used to quite enjoy surprising the **** out of some of these guys in my old 68 bronco. Hi comp 289,4:11 gears and a detroit locker. Rust flat black and not a straight panel on it. You should have seen their face when ya spin both rear tires light to light, and they haven't left the intersection.

The engine makes about 160hp and the gearing is just fine for an auto.

I think the only way too make that look right would be to pie cut the front of the hood so it slopes to the front.

I have been told of guys useing VW wheel cylinders in place of the brake rods. All you would have to do is mount the cylinder in the correct location and test it's function.
