Ok.... Bought a 1980 302 to replace the Tired Flatty In my 51 Ford Moredoor.. Problem I'm running into is that I had to change the oil pan and oil pick-up to a front sump instead of the rear sump which is what the motor has because the 51 has a backwards steering gear with the steering control...

And yet in 11 years we've never had an arguement LOL [S

I solved that problem I don't have a headliner :p

I'm in Janesville Wisconsin.. Seems like I never see any Rat Rods or customs around town.. The Only Car Club in town are a bunch of Kids with screamin imports who race everywhere they go.. [S

I might just see what rear end is in the Donor truck and snag that with the rest of the parts.. Might be just be the ticket.. We'll see..

Didn't get to hear it run.. It's an 1980 Motor was just rebuilt, Truck got trashed.. I'm getting the Motor, Trans, Radiator, Wiring, Etc for $300... Found a install kit for the 302at Shoebox Ford.com for $199.00 Gonna havta find a Floor Shift for an Automatic.. But theres tons available.. Next...

I agree Willowbilly.. If I can find a decient used motor with all the attachments that I can drop in.. The Turn Key Drop in 302 Crate motor.. $3500. The other Crate motors are Bare.. By the time you buy an intake, carb, pullys, Brackets, starter, Alternater, oil pan. valve covers, gaskets...
