    Retitle 1.5 ton to 1/2 ton ~ suggestions

    build it with the suspension your gona use. when they inspect it since it dont have a current title stating its a large truck they should title it as what it is, i would think. there inspecting it right.

    the hei you took out of your 68, make sure the cap has the ground strap for the coil to the pick up in it, some times there a metal strap sometimes its wire. if its not in there it will cause what you had happen. they get left out alot when someone changes caps or coils.

    youd be better off all around to just get another axle out of something later model with redily available parts like an s10 or something depending on how wide you need it and big or little bolt pattern
