The Eye Drs went well. Shots in both eyes but only one is bloody looking.
It's amazing how much better I see after these trearments so back into the shop today.
Pics 1-2. One more final check of fitment before I make a clean cut and start to tack the fender back together. I'm still liking the way that the tire now sits in the fender.
Pic 3. A 1/4 of an inch setback of the hub cap from the outer lip of the wheel opening.:)

Pics 4-5. Cut-clamp-tack-repeat. Got about 3/4 of the fender tacked. I will finish it up tomorrow and then connect all the dots and start to grind. I am happy with the results so far. Always easier when you can see what you are doing. [;) [;) [;)
Thanks for visiting.......

That's the way it should have been from the factory.
[P[P[P

Probably was OI but since I used a different frame and rear end than an F-1 has (which is what the box and fenders are from) the width just wasn't where it needed to be. But it is now.[cl
It's funny how many guys see a pic of my never made before custom truck and swear that their Grandpa had one just like it.

Finished up the welding on the narrowed and repaired fender today.
Shot a little primer on it to keep away the rust
I may turn to other parts of the project before I tackle the other fender.:D
Getting warmer here as well so more reasons to be out in the shop.[cl
Pics tell the story.
Thanks for checking up on me.....

This arrived today.
My birthday present to myself.:D
Casco perfection spotlight.
Smaller than the much sought after and $$$$$$$ Appleton 112's or 552's but still a pleasing bullet shape to the light housing. This came with 2 mounting brackets and the original instructions. One of the brackets is a pre fit anf one is a universal fill to fit.
From the condition of this spotlight I would say that it has never been used.

Oh. And just so you guys don't think that all I do is sit around...... Started a Kitchen and dinning area remodel today with my wife. Something I said that I would never do again.[S[ddd:rolleyes:
Thanks for looking in.......

Just to let you know that I haven't dropped dead.......

Picked up the flooring for the remodel project today and when I got home this was in the shop. Delivered by my dogs favorite UPS driver. (She always leaves them biscuts.[cl ).
1949 Plymouth rear bumper. Not a perfect rechrome. But darn near and at about 25% of the cost of having the one that I have straightened and Chromed.
Also put a quick polish on my spotlight.
It too is what is referred to as "Driver Quality." LOL
Closing in on the remodel as we are done with the ceiling and the walls and will start the flooring this weekend.
Oh. And it's snowing here.........
Thanks for looking in on me........
