Been working A lot of overtime latly but I did get A couple of days in to work on the Rat here some more pices of the progress. I got Lots of parts on order that should start coming in stating monday. removed 2in from the leaf springs and going with A over load coil spring shock that helps up to a extra 300lbs load that should help handle the engine weight and to drop it lower. May channel the body 2in to hide the frame and only go with A 5in chop top.

I have alot people tell me I chopped it to much and the bodys is setting to low to the ground but me personally I love it, I love the way it looks and that what counts lol. Here A few more pics of my progress not sure if Im doing it completly right but its getting done. The gentlemen in the pics are my friend and his son that help me and make this project possible for giving me A place to store it and work on it.

Chop height looks perfect! If anything, I would put it lower to the ground with taller tires all around. Maybe even a section outta the body. Looks great with the hood on.

LUCKY DEVIL 13 I thought about going 7in like you did when I seen yours but desided to stay with 6in because I was going to take the full 6in out the back window. Sam_Fear I wanted it lower than what it is but its 8 1/2in from the ground as of right now and I could get it lower but i can live with it at the 8 1/2 its at. sgtpontiac thanks, I like the look of the 3 1/2in back window. deerchoope Neverdone Thanks and will do.
