Sorry about the delay guys! Got into side x side racing and have been wrapped up in that here lately but it's about time to pull this thing out again and finally finish it! I think I may be getting in the running for longest build. Lol! Bear with me and we'll be smoking tires one of these days!!!

Made a little progress today. Got the engine cleaned and painted. Went and got the ole girl and unloaded it in the shop. Had to do a little cutting to get the cummins to fit... Was nice to see an engine back in this thing!

You sir would be absolutely correct. While they are some heavy things they were very strong and long living motors. The old ve pump motors were easily tuned for quite a bit more power. I put one in a tahoe a while back and it would move on pretty good. Also wanting to do alot of road cruising...

Great info there!!!! I was a little lost at what turbo to look for. Also is this using an intercooler or just the methanol injection? If I go this route you will probably be hearing lots from me...lol!

Well looks like money wise there won't be much difference in putting the non turbo ls in or putting the cummins in. However there will be a little more fab work to put the cummins in as the truck is already setup for an ls. I think all I'll have to do for the cummins is build some motor mounts...

Have you checked the liner? Mine did a similar thing. Sounded like the drive motor was getting weak, but ended up being a bad liner. New liner and tip and she was up and welding like new again!
