So Ive been kinda lazy lately. only on the truck. ive been doing a lot of work for other people so thats been keeping me really busy.

I changed my mind on the caddy tail lights so im gonna sell those. I bought a set of old Buick Electra tails which I think look way better.

I did get my welder and a tank of gas finally. Im getting my mask tonite and hopefully welding this weekend.

tonite I am going to work on filling a few more dents in the cab and paint the new parts I have.

Well got the floor out of the cab this weekend and started planning out the bracing. Well with all of the measuring and trying to see it all while laying in the garage we decided to get it up on the lift. I had to see what it might look like on the frame.

Well I got the hump cut out of the cab for the trans. I also welded in a few more floor braces. Tonite Im going to put it back onto the frame and get a good look at where the rest of the bracing will go.

Well tonite I got that much farther. I cut the rust off of the back of the cab and decided I needed to see just how it fit now. So out of the garage she came. I hoisted the cab up and set her onto the frame again to check to see just where I will need to cut and to start really planning out this floor.

I tell you what it is so cool to finally see the vision that you have in your head finally start to take shape. I think that when i pulled the cherry picker away I was smiling ear to ear. I sure my neighbors think Im nuts, lol. But anyhow here are a few pics

Ya its getting there. Im going to cut a bit more out of the front for the trans to fit nicely in there. Then its onto the rest of the floor.

very cool, love the grill. looks like a B or C allis chalmers. im a big fan of tractors too. i had a moline laying around

DP1 That looks awesome! Ya I was thinking a panel would look cool with the gauges in it. Wood would be sweet to match the bed!
