Thanks everyone for your words of encouragement. It’s all keeping me going strong.

Taillight buckets are frenched in and taillights are mounted. Took a lot longer than I initially anticipated. Wanted to be careful and not warp the metal as much as possible. Got done with that and finally made a cover for the master cylinder. Tomorrow I hope to make a panel for the fuse block and then start on the finish work for the front suspension and steering.

More detail work today. Doesn’t look like much but the small details that no one except other builders notice take the longest. Removable panel that covers the fuse block and the latches to secure the trunk lid.

So much originality. I forsee Peoples Choice awards in your future jb

Thanks E-man but I don’t do this for the awards. I do it to keep my mind off all the crap I can’t control. Turns out, building hot rods and welding is perfect therapy for PTSD. Life hasn’t always been fair to me but it’s made me the way I am. Some of that’s good, and some of it well, has given me a bad temperament towards other people lol.

Your work looks great Endi - those taillight buckets turned out amazing. I'm glad this hobby acts as therapy for you - I get that, and appreciate you taking the time to post the pictures of your work. Your original ideas are an inspiration!

Truth be told, It's therapy of a sort for most of us.
I'm in need of some shop therapy myself.:)
Your work looks great and very creative.

Got all the steering stuff sorted out yesterday. Seems to work flawlessly. So today, decided it was time to pull the front suspension apart, replace the shackles, and see if I can’t get it to sit up just a hair higher. Well as most things go, nothing went as planned. Everything was rusted together and the new shackles were too short so the spring was hitting the bones. So went back with the original fat fendered links. I’ll attempt to finish it up tomorrow and see how it sits with the 15” wheels.

So the different leafs didn’t lift it up any higher so looks like it’s gonna get the 16s.

Anyhow, over the last few days I haven’t done anything spectacular but sometimes, that’s what you need. Spent most of yesterday asleep recouping from a long week at work and today, I picked up my RSC build off car. I know everyone really enjoys my builds but for this one, it’s gonna be really hush hush until the cruise in which means roughly 1-1/2 years from now. I can however show you what I will be starting with.
