It was created in 1927 as a result of a merger between two companies, McColl Brothers, founded by John McColl in 1873, and Frontenac Oil Refineries. Shares in the new company were acquired by the Texas Company, and by 1941 it had acquired a majority ownership position of McColl-Frontenac. At that time, the oil company was rebranded as Texaco. McColl-Frontenac was known for its branding of its oil and products as "Red Indian". In 1989, Texaco Canada was acquired by Imperial Oil."

they were really proud of their businesses and buildings then. Nowadays it just build cheap and uniform and get the cheapest shop staff you can get , or none at all...... too bad.

I am no expert but, is that Richfield the same as Atlantic Richfield, which became ARCO, owned by BP? Also, is the Canadian B-A (British American) a pre British Petroleum? (BP)

British American Oil was not associated with BP.

B/A was a Canadian company from 1906 to 1969 when Gulf Canada bought B/A.
