So I have a 88 Chevy block with center bolt valve covers that have 2 holes in one and 1 hole in the other for a total of three holes.. I took a pre 85 intake 3x2 manifold and elongated the cebter bolts and it fits great.. But on the front of the intake next to the thermo housing us a big 1.25...

I baight an axle breather for this Currie 9 inch and the hole is waaayyy bigger than the breather 1/8 any ideas..its almost like a 5/8

I have a ford 9 inch with 3-5/8 wide ujoint and caps are 1-1/8... I'm running a saginaw trans ..the only hybrid u joint I could find in those sizes uses inside clips.. question one. Do I neeed clips for the pinion if it has tabs? Question 2 can I use a ujoint that has grooves for inside clips...

I've seen in some pictures were guys with a channled body and the drive shaft is in the cab . they had some kinda black rubber looking matterial that was arround the length of the driveshaft. It was bolted down on the sides?..

On the ford spindle I have bolt thru steering arms..when the backing plate goes onto the spindle the spindle come thru the backing plate and the washers cannot lay flat on the backing plate due to the spindle coming thru...is there a special washer..and what length should the bolts be to not...

I ask the question "does it matter which way the axle retainer plates face" because I slipped the axles into my ford 9 inch and tightened the retainer and bakcing plate.which by the way has 2.5 backspacing. Same as the axle housing.. and when I tighten donws the retaining bolts to even 15 ft...

I just got a new 3x2 intake from speedway and there is a pretty big nick on the carb stand of the intake..from the picture you can tell the big one on the edge..and there also I little one were the smudge is..wich is in the line where the gsket would set...big deal or not????

Will a chevy 350 from 1990 have the same mounts as earlier motors.. I found a cross member from speedway that says it will fit 350's up to 83.. what the hell changed after that year??? Thanks!
