Got the frame work finished up on the cowl today. Tomorrow Im taking the day off to pick up yet another project. This one being a 32 fisher body of some sort. No clue what Im going to do with it yet. Saturday I should be able to skin the nose of the cowl and then move onto some framework for the rear of the car.

Yup, first step, light a match.

Got the nose piece cut out and beads rolled yeaterday. Didnt get to welding it into place yet and that’ll wait until Monday. For now, I have a few sheet metal screws holding it in place. Once it is welded in, I will be removing them and filling the holes with 38special shells. Woman came out to the shop to tell me we needed to go grocery shopping. Today, we’ve got some plans so I won’t be able to hit the car at all.

So, plans changed today due to snow!!! Got the nose welded in today but I don’t think I’m going to grind the welds down now. I also think I’m going to do something different on the cowl than was originally plannedbut haven’t decided. I’m either going to use barbed wire on the edge or my original idea of brazing 9mm bullets to it. What do y’all think?

Finished up the framework on the rear this afternoon. Almost ready to start on the roof. I have a hood from my old 76 f-150 that I think will work perfect.

So interior framework is done as far as I can go until I get the frame built and I needed the suspension stuff in order to build the frame the way I need it. So, ordered most of what I needed for that today. Hard pill to swallow but it was either now or later. Tomorrow, as long as it doesn’t rain, I will be getting the cars ready for a car show on Saturday and putting Projekt Coppertone up for sale. As much as I hate to sell my builds I will need to fund other builds.

Always hard to get rid of one you built yourself.
The only reason I have ever sold any of my projects is to get money for the next one.(Or to pay bills.)
