I'm Z'ing my 52 Ford F1 stock frame. Ive mocked up about 6" in the front. Havent finished the rear yet. I was just wondering how much Z people have in their frames. And maybe how much clearance you have from the ground to the frame under the cab. Thanks!

Good idea bob, thanks! I work at a wrecking yard so I can easily find some sort of donor. I diddnt want to change the box location and have a screwey steering angle. Adding a ujoint would fix the column location problem.

Any AC compressor can be converted to be used as an air compressor. You just have to keep oil in it by using an inline oiler. York are the best. Google york on board air donors to figure out what rig to get it from.

Doesnt look like you removed the spring eye pins. You have to drive them out from the inside. Take the pinch bolts all the way out first. On my ford I couldnt access them so I had to take the hanger off the frame first. To lower the rear end, you could remove some leafs. Or you could do a...

I posted the exact same question last week. I found mine to be too badly rusted and warped to re-use. I'm going to go to a junkyard and find some donors. Pull them and look them over. Are they rusted badly? Warped? Cracked?
