looks like we may have a lot of the technical problems working out [cl now just a mater of mayby starting to gather up the pieces and get to work .....first thing I gotta do before I start looking at picking something up is get an engin in my truck should be within a couple weeks then its start hunting... but still got lots of work on all my other projects oh well cant have to many projects eh.[;) .

Well all the power to him for getting it done its just not the way I would go guess if I was a millionair I could play around like that like I say ya think Cook or a few others would think about a kit but judging from the participation in this fourum guess the interest just isnt there.D

This guy won the World Championship the year before Cook.
The bike looks pretty conventional, until you find out the guy
made his own 4 valve cylinderheads. [cl
Definite WOW Factor.

So how do you top that ?
Cook's answer was his "International" motor.

Producing a "kit" is a lot more expensive, more work,
and less fun, than doing a one off. Also risky.

I would like to build it in a couple of different styles I like the cafe racer style something like this ....as a mater of fact I may be able to pick up an old Gwing for cheap and mayby that will get me away from obssessing with this inline four thing.Anyways just some ideas....I know from one extreme to the other .......

WOW!!!!!! 2095 views 175 replys and only 2 guys contributing ideas must be a record.....couldnt have anything to do with the 5 star rating.Everybody must just be so baffled at how somebody could come up with such a radicaly stupid idea ....I feel so special.....or mayby I really am crazy ....now if I could just quit yappin and get something together could really freak some folks out....D

On some boards, the self declared experts would
stand in line to tell you why it won't work.

Only because they have never seen it done.
They certainly would never attempt anything
so radical on their own.

The truth is, you would have to look very hard
to find someone who has even tried to do half
of what has been discussed here.

Yep I hear ya Ian better that way best to keep quiet unless something positive to contribute...mayby everybody is just being polite to this crazy fool.
Anyways today I stopped by a cycle wrecker on the way back from picking up my new GM crate 350 engine for my truck and had a look at some old cases hoping to mayby pick up a few for free just to experament with and found that on most engins the oilpan from the tranny protrudes into the crancase cavity but no big deal still can be covered with some kind of plate arrangement.Mayby this is good for the placement of the oilpump or possibly ues an external pump.Anyways thinking a guy should at least figger out which model to start with, pick up a newer running one and go from there.
