thanks guy's . yea the suburban seats fit good. I found some nice ones for around $50. just couldn't get past that it looked like a seat from a suburban and would end up spending more to fix it than to build build one to fit.right now I have less than $10 in it. I want to re do the interior of our 39 sedan too. my wife and I are talking about buying a sewing machine and doing some of it ourselves.

I've never been a fan of third row seats. I used an S-10 bench in mine and it fits like it's made for it. I like what you're doing with yours, though.

dug out the floor boards to make some patterns to make new floors. they were in better condition than I was thinkin. so after a couple hours beatin and weldin and grindin and sandblasting, I had a nice solid, removable floor section.

The tank looks like it was made for it. You might want to turn it around so the fuel doesn't run away from the lines if your truck is raked down in the front. Or keep plenty of fuel in it.

There is nothing there on your motor running attachment.

Stay after it. It's going to be a cool ride.

Nice clean truck

Nice truck and great buy. I think it would cool like a old gasser with the body the body the way it is.

Sounds very healthy. What's in it?

thanks bob. it is a 1967 small journal 327 ,11:1 pistons ; 2.02 valve heads; 292 comp cam. this engine was in my wife's drag car that she had when we got married. it was built by her late husband ,who was a good friend of mine. we sold the car to build our 39 chevy, but kept the motor. this was the first time it had been started in ten years. I am honored to have it in my hot rod.

found these headers on e-bay. they were much nicer than I expected for $110. the pass. side will need a little heatin and bendin to clear the fire wall but i expected that. should work just fine.
