how about jeep 258 4.0 six, you can get them in fuel injected. alot of jeep people pull them for chevy small blocks. they also mount to a five speed

a pinion being offset is no big deal. A lot of axles are this way. Alot of dana 44 are this way. It doesnt mean that its a 4x4 axle. i would use the 8.8 being offset without even thinking about it.

i lost a head gasket in a motor that was sitting for a period of time, and one piston is rusted to clyinder walls. I need to break loose. any suggestion. cant take the motor apart till this one piston moves.
